Projeck Manajer

If I grows anymore I won't be able to fit in the baffroom window. I like sittin' here in the mornin' to 1) digest my breakfas, 2) check out the birds outside, 3) make sure Mommy doesn't forget anyfing while she's gettin' ready fur werk, like puttin' on her makup or somefin, 4) just to be in a higher place than Angie, and most importantly, 5) it am my new job.

Pretty soon I won't be able to hang out here acoz the beans are goin' to be smashin' the tiles in here. They goin' to re-do the room so Mommy can feel comfy in here too. This was some ofur beans design so she wants to put her own paws on it. I have been dezzignated to be the projeck manajer and will give weekly reports here onna progress. If'n any ofur kitties have any sperience wif this kind of projeck please let me know. I need a projeck assistant to help wif annul-eyezing colors (I haf to like it too) ofur materials, and speshully keepin' the projeck on trak.

Beau Beau, PMP (projeck manajer professhunal).

  2. I think an official protest with a demonstration in the streets is in order. No Cat should have to give up his or her favorite morning spot just because the humans want to rearrange the house. Sheesh.

  5. Our mom & dad did that to their baffroom this last summer. Actushully dad did all the work and he otook his dear sweet time doing it too. I liked to sit by the sink and lick at the drips from the faucet and it all got torn down. I'd so in there to jump up & no place to jump!!! Horrible. Finally it got done with a new floor & tile & potty & sink and counter and it's way better than before, it was just crappy getting there! Hang in there . maybe with you managing it'll go faster. -Scooby

  11. I definitely think you will make an awesome project manager, Beau Beau. You'll make sure the humans don't take long breaks or overeat. You'll see to it they get lots of rest, and you'll be sure they clean the port-a-litter-box. Keep us posted!

  14. BB, I can help. I was assistant PM on the bathroom redo in our old house and am currently the PM for the redo on the bathroom in this house.

First, you will need design plans. These include specifications for a new, larger(deeper) window. Preferably one that can house some catnip and wheat grass.

Then, you'll need to pick your colors. Do you want to compliment or contrast with your furs? Cool or warm? Then you need decide on the new fixtures. Undoubtedly, though, the most difficult task is the budget.

As you can see, there is much to consider when preparing for such an extrordinary undertaking.

  16. Oh, I don't haf any asperience to help, bro. But I fink that room needs a nice, big bay window fur you. We don't haf a single windowsill in our house! The windose haf to be open fur us to sit at all.
Enjoy yur window while you can!

  17. Our bafroom doesn't have windows. You are lucky! We can't remodel the partment, so I can't help. ButI like the suggestion about colors. Make sure they compliment your fur. And a bay window would be awesome. You could grow plants in there and have room for you, too.

When the new smelly cullered stuff was put on the walls in our baffroom, we had to stay out cuz we got it on our furrs an we got our furrs on the walls.Fanks fer the advice bout our archives. Marylynn has been sorting it out fer us, an got them back fer us, an told us some uvver fings we didn't know.We copied our template now as well.

  21. Beau Beau... they created a basement from scratch in the basement. we have boring beige & white down there. Upstairs they knocked out everything existing in bathroom (it hadn't been re-done since built) & we have mostly green with white trim for our colors. We got lucky - the tiles were on clearance & they worked really well. Plus they are nice and cool to lay one. HTH!

  22. Congrats BeauBeau! A young, handsome, intelligent guy like you will be an excellent Project Manager. We agree with Wm though. Just be sure whatever changes you approve, be sure there's a place for your own personal roll of TP for playing & relaxing.

  23. We had our bathroom done two and a half years ago. I found it very traumatic with workmen all over the place and tiles and dust and bits of old sinks and stuff. And no bathroom for a week. I stayed well away and sulked in the study until it was all over. So I can't give you much advice, except don't make it pink, because when we moved into this house my mum said "Yuck, pink bathroom!" and ripped it all out and now it is white with a little bit of blue.
