Sweaty night

Message to Mom. I can see yur a little cranky this morning. My usual sweetness aside, I sleep at the foot of the bed at Daddy's feet. Just because I rolled a little over to your side doesn't mean that you can stick your a) stinky and b) sweaty toesies on my belly and in my face in the middle of the night. I unnerstand that you wake up with those freaky men-o-pawsal sweatsies that you get from being old and that's what happens to females when they get old so then don't get annoyed when I have to take a bath for fifteen minutes everytime you rubs yur sweaty self ofur me. I know you like to rub your toesies on my soft fur but then you get what you deserve by listening to me cleaning yur sweat off me. But hey, you're awake already anyway. Geez, I'm getting close to yur age in human years. I hope kitties don't get men-o-pawsal. Ewww.

  1. Angelica, you look so serious! How awful that you has to get all sweated on in the middle of the night. maybe your mommy should sleep wif some ice packs, or put the cool air blowy fingy (fan, mommy calls is) on and blowing on her. That's what our mommy does, 'acause she is always hot - and she's not efenn men-o-pawsal yet (although she is old). You mean it will get worse? cripes, it's cold enuf in the bedroom now for snow!

  2. Wow. That is a very serious look!

Luckily I don't have long silky fur like you (which I'm insanely jealous of) and my mewomy is very young (24) so I don't have to worry about that. BUT she rolls on top of me sometimes when I'm snuggling under the covers with her. That's not fun at all.

I likes to sleep unner the doovay, but it frightens the life outta yoo when yoo are dreaming of mice an fev-vers, an next fing yoo know, yoo fink sumfing has jumped on yoo.

does you shed on yur Mommy? when our Lady tries ta touch us when she's sweaty, we shed all offur her so's she's got fur stuck ta efurrywheres, 'specially her face. ya shouldn't hafta put up wif her gettin her feet all offur you. it may be kinda yucky, but why don't ya put the bitey on her toes?

  5. Hmm. It looks like Angie's mom isn't the only one who's cranky. I agree with Grr, Midnight & Cocoa. If it was me I would have biten my Mom's toes, no questions asked.

  7. Ours is cranky too. She always keeps a
leg sticking out and the other night I sleeped on top of it and then the leg went to sleep (how do legs sleep?) and she dumped me off it and it was really rude of her. -Scout

  11. Well, if you do get men-o-pawsal it will be another excuse to be snarky, like me.

If the toes bug you, nibble them.
