Pumpkin Update:
Pumpkin fritters, pumpkin custard, pumpkin bread, pumpkin donuts, pumpkin pancakes (Mom had those last weekend and didn't give us any), pumpkin seeds, pumpkin soup, pumpkin butternut soup, pumpkin mashed potatoes, pumpkin cookies, roasted pumpkin, pumpkin puddin, pumpkin mousse, pumpkin squash, and pumpkin ice cream, and finally, pumpkin jellow!.

The Mom loves this time of year 'cause she gets lots of pumpkin pie.
Oh we even forgotted Mom's favrit -Pumpkin ice cream!

We didn't have any pumpkins but my mum grew some big squashes in the garden that were a bit like pumpkins. She cut one up and roasted it with some roast pig. But she didn't roast it for long enough so the squash was still a bit hard. So she chopped up the bits of squash that were left and put them in a stirfry the next day - she is very resourceful! The squash plants still had some little squashes on them but then the frost came last week and the squash plants all died.
that's a very pretty picture of you! my Mom makes a pumpkin soup with bread and cheese and chicken broth and cream that gets baked in the pumpkin. she says it's really good.
Pumpkin cookies! One of mama's friends loves them. They have raisins and frosting!

Oh Angie, that is a pury nice picture. Have you efur seen Garfield's Halloween special where he thinks the pumkin innerds are of the "lasagnia pursuasion?" It is to to funny. Mommy likes pumpkins for decorating, but not the taste so she can't help you. Sorry.

Oooooo ... I like pumpkins so much that I live with a Pumpkin! Yours is very round and very orange (like MINE!). You look very pretty up against your pumpkin. Mom gave me a pumpkin doughnut ... and I liked it. Pumpkin bread and pumpkin muffins, too. Sometimes Mom makes a custard out of pumpkin and cooks it like a creme brulee ... I like that, too. The pumpkin pancakes were my favorite because they had pecan syrup (and I love syrup). Mmmmm ...

Pumpkin Jello. My human thought of that before seeing the other comments cause where she comes from they can make jello out of anything. Then she found a recipe. And now she's going to make it for Thanksgiving. Fortunately, WE won't have to eat it. Good picture, though!
