Toofie Update

We spoke too soon.  Things have not gone so well for Miss Angie.  She has an infection in one of the extractions.  Sunday we got to go back to the v.e.t. again for a visit.  Angie did not get to drive the car that day -- Daddy was driving... She wuzn't feeling well enough to want to drive anyway.  Antibiotics were prescribed and luckily we got some more pain meds because she was one hurtin' kitteh.  After more than 24 hours of the antibiotics she seems to be doing better but it still doesn't look that good.  At least she was eating today.  Tuesday morning will be a determination of whether or not she needs to go back to have the gum reopened to see what's going on inside.  Gosh does it break our hearts to see her looking like she is, licking her mouth and her tongue keeps hanging out.  Today she was much better than yesterday so we're keeping our fingers crossed.
