Need some advice

Move over blog hogger Beau Beau. It's my turn. There just aren't as many picshures of me since I am calm an collected while Beau Beau follows Mom around like a little baby. Always whining and whining, treats! treats! Geez he's still a blog hogger an I'm here.

I, in da mean time, haf been sitting payshuntly waiting fer da man to come home an open da door so I can go owt an get some more mousies. I just heard somefin from anofur human an it's a *shudder* scary thot. She said I could get WORMS from eatin' mousies. Is dat true??? If dat's true I don't fink I'll efur eat a mousie again. How bout birds? Can I get worms from eatin' birdies? Well usually I don't eat anyfing I just catch em an play wif em but who knows? I might want a snack once in a while. It's good for my teef. But not if I can get WORMS from it! ICK!

  2. Oh Angie, the sad truth is that is a birdie or mousie is sick with worms or something, you can get it too! And mousie droppings can have hanta virus which is very, very bad!
You'd probably be a lot safer if you stuck to Feline Greenies!

  4. Yep, I am pretty sure you can get 'testinal parasites from eating the birds and mousies. Maybe you can just hunt those things and then let them go?

  5. Yeah, you can get some bad stomach critters from mousies. Maybe if you could buy them directly from the pet store?

  8. Angie, you are such a lovely and floofy kitty!

I'm sure you can get all sorts of bad stuff from all the fun mousies and birdies outside. I guess it is a good thing I'm only allowed to watch them and not hunt.

  10. how pretty you are! and very good a patient too.

i'm sorry to tell you you can get worms from eating mice. mousies can have fleas that can give you tapeworms. birdies and mice can also pass on icky things to a kitty.

best to stick with stinky goodness and crunchies.

  12. Mommy says that yes, you can get all kinds of nasty things from mousies and birdies. Hmm, we think you should just demand extra treats to make up you not being able to eat the mousies and birds.

  13. Oh, you pose so pretty. We don't know why you would want to eat mousies with worms when you can have crunchies. We love crunchies.

  21. Sorry, Angie, but you can get worms from eating mice.To prevent that the humans have to give you icky medicine.Istill like to eat them, though. And the lizards down here are delicious.I don't eat the birdies becaue they are my friends.

  22. G'day Angie, We sometimes eat stuff we catch like mousies, or lizards, but more often than we like Mum thanks us for our catch and then makes it disappear. We sometimes do get to eat fresh stuff, but then we also have to have Revolution each month, and an annual tapeworm tablet. That must help keep us healthy.

Just remember, the fun's in the chase, not necessarily in the eating.

  23. Yep fraid it's troo Angie. We haf to have an injeksun 3 times a year in case the mousies put werms in us. Flynn duzn't eat them furry often but he gives them to me and I allus eat them. Once when I wuz little, the bad mousies put a big tapeworm in my tummy.I had to haf an extra injekshun and it made me yak it up, which sirpurrised mum cuz she thought I would poop it out.I've been ok ever since though.
