Happy Tuesday! 

Two photos today from Teaghan.  First, Tommy the gargoyle is trying to be funny thinking he's going to get me from up there. But I can hear him breathing. Hah! Then, the Mom thinks she's funny taking all these pictures of me while I'm sleeping. But seeing me sprawled out showing my tummy in all it's glory makes her happy. And yes, she's allowed to touch the floof. :-)

Caturday Art and windy weather

Tommy:  "The mom has been messing around with lots of programs to make purrty pictures of us. She says it really is quite overwhelming with so many to choose from but wants to try as many as she can before settling on just a couple. And us? Well, we just like to get up early, eat, play a bit, then sleep. Nothing really exciting has been going on except for the storm a few days ago that the tv weather people talked about for hours and hours and put the fear of God into everyone watching. 

The only thing that changed for us was that we had to stay out of our sun room the whole day while the wind was blowing. And then we got to cozy up on the inside couch like usual while the humans whined and purrayed that the pine trees wouldn't fall on da house and the tornado wouldn't come the few miles inland after it was spotted near Bald Head Island. And now it looks like it's supposed to happen again today with the wicked wind. We should be able to curl up in our usual spot this time though since it's not supposed to be as bad. 

Mom says "If a tree falls in the forest and there's no weatherman to tell you it fell, did it?" Meow.

Mom Brenda:  Here are the artworks made with generative AI, Adobe Firefly, using my reference photo and the prompt words "Red and white Norwegian forest cat walking through a windy storm" with the effects of "Art, Fantasy, and Impressionism" to create the look.  The results of a few different effects and one with just "photo" were very normal in that AI wouldn't create any windy look until I added the word "storm". It couldn't figure out how to add blowing leaves or trees in the background on the few passes I made. Interesting results. 

I was really amazed how much the cats look so similar to Tommy and Teaghan even on a few I tried without a reference photo of them (as the first one below). Maybe they'll be a good model for NFC art! 

If any of you reading this use Adobe Firefly could you give it a try and see if they come out looking similar? It would be really interesting to see.

My take is that it isn't all that easy to get exactly what you are imagining. It's a mix of the correct terms that AI can work with and what effect you are going for.

Holiday Warmth in the Swick House

Nothing better than some warm snuggles cozying up on the Mom in front of the fireplace. And yes, it does get cooler here in coastal North Carolina.  So we do lots of sleeping and snoozing and get warm on the Mom while we she is watching senseless reality TV on something called Big Brother's Reindeer Games. She says it is entertaining though and gets more of her Christmassy things checked off her fun holiday list. At least we get to all hang out together. Even the Gnomes by the fireplace are having fun. MOL!

Holiday fun and Aunt Jeanne Visit

 Auntie Jeanne has been visiting us and we have had a great week. That's me, Teaghan, on the table (gasp!), and then sucking up, cuddling up with AJ while watching tv in my usual spot on the couch. Tommy also made sure she knew that she was sleeping on his bed and tried to get in there and sleep with her at night too. As soon as she would leave the room we both would run in there and check out what she was doing, get in her luggage, put our furs back on the covers, etc. 

We will have a busy day putting our furs and stinky back all over the room once she goes home. Thanks for the visit Auntie Jeanne!

Christmas Past with the Ts

The Ts first Christmas back in 2017!  There's always a solution to a potential problem. :-) 

But then maybe not...  Our humans when on vacation for a week that year and our furriend and cat sitter,  Kelly, had to spend a lot of time picking up the ornaments as they flew off the tree in the never ending winter wind in CT.

I see shiny things, meomy! 

I'm going to find another way around to go climb that tree.

The Ts and a Dr. Elsey's cat litter question

 Hi efurrybuddy!  Teaghan and I were just talking this morning about things and we have a question for y'all. Food Dad Bob uses Dr. Elsey's Ultra cat litter in our kitty box. He has used the same kind for almost all our lives. Now all the sudden our kitty litter is a little shall we say "chunkier" than normal and not so tender on our feet. It's still dust free but each piece is a lot bigger than it used to be. Not that it was ever soft exactly but it's definitely different. 

Do any of you out there in the blogosphere use Dr. Elsey's Ultra cat litter and have you noticed a change in it? And if you use some other kind that is dust free let us know about that too.

Hey y'all! It's Sunday Selfie day and we have a new furriend who wants to get in on the action. Meet our new pawpal, Teresa Towel, named after our favorite furriend and neighbor who used to watch us when the humans went on vaycashun.  She gave us this cute look-alike of us to remember her by. 

That's not such a good selfie Teresa, you need to sit up a little higher. Get closer...

Teresa and Rob were furry nice to us and we are going to miss them terribly. Mommy and Food man Daddie are going to miss them and their fur babies, Etta and Kitkat, very much too cuz they are moving away. 

Ok that's better. Now I can give smoochies to little Teresa. 💗

So here is little Teresa jus hanging out with us. Of course I love her best and I let her sit next to me while getting a selfie. Teaghan loves the real Teresa too so she has been giving little Teresa the stink eye when she comes near her. It could also be cuz she is waiting for breakfast #2 and wasn't in the mood for a selfie.

Well anywho, we will bring little Teresa Towel into some of our future posts with some stories and adventures around the house. She will be hanging out on the oven handle until the next time we want to play. 😸😻😺

Happy Sunday y'all! 

Tommy:  The Mom had to take our selfies again, well, cuz she can and we have a hard time with that. Hah!  Can you see the one little Maple tree with the fall color behind me? Pretty soon I'll get to watch the leaves fall while sitting on my bed here.

Teaghan:  Yes, the time change messed us up and when we jumped on Foodie Daddy he was not ready to get up for us. So he made us wait a bit. And he also realized that one of us needed a cat-a-cure, you know instead of a man-a-cure, when we scratched him just a tiny bit as we tried to get him outta bed.  So now we are just making today a sleepy day, well not so different than other days, MOL, and just chillin out. 

Hope y'all are having a nice Fall Sunday and enjoying your extra hour.  We'll be visiting as many of our furriends today to try and catch up since we've been away so long.

Shhhhhhh, the baby's sleeping... :-) Miss Teaghan has the rule of the guest bedroom. She obviously feels  safe enough here from Tommy the terror. He prefers the kitty condo bed in the sun room and will jump up and get her off there. He generally leaves her be in this room.  

It's been colder here in NC the last couple of days. We put the fireplace on for the first time since the early spring. Tommy had to go and check it out but didn't stay near it. He's watching it though.  There's been a shift in which one comes up to sit with me to watch tv at night now. It was always Teaghan in the front of me and Tommy would sit on the side. Lately Tommy took over the front spot so she has been staying on her condo bed. Then that night she climbed up to sit right on my chest to get the top spot with that look like "what's does he think he's doing?" 😂.

Thoughts on Thursday and something that is there or not?

I cannot believe mine own eyes. I was just taking a little snooze and when I woke up I looked out near the window and no one knows what I saw but me. I gave it the blinky eyes a couple times.  Scared the bejesus out of the Mom. Then I looked over at Mom to say "what the heck?" Did yoo see that? But no, she didn't see anything but me saying hi to something that she can't see. You ever see anything and look up at it and scare your humans into thinking something is there? 

And here's my Thankful thought today too. I am thankful that I have a nice chair to hang out on and sometimes I spin around on it. It keeps Tommy away from me. And maybe keeps me away from whatever those ghosties are. Meow!
