Mancat Mousie Monday

I knew there wuz a mouse in da house. I could hear him little claws scratchin' in a box in Daddies messy stuff room. Da box wuz at da bottom of a pile of ofur boxes and he wuz a hidin' in dare. I kept diggin' an diggin' trying to get him owt of dat box. Finally Daddie saw me an wuz wondrin wot wuz in dare. He helped me move da boxes and den I CAUGHT da mousie! I ranned wif him fast cuz I wanted to bring him to da kitchen so I could see him better. See pikshures of him below.
I finks he wanted to use da scratch pad here. But he didn't haf time. He runned away and hid and we couldn't find him -- till midnight dat is. And dat's when me an Angie played wif him for a while. Den he didn't want to play no more. Mommie is sad about dat but she didn't want him to come and try to hide owt in dare bedroom. In da mornin' daddie found him in da hallway and took him owtside for a proper burial.

Surprise Sunday

Well yoo know when it's early morning hours and somebean comes into da baffroom wif no light on an when da baffroom is already okkupied by one feline furry butt trying to catch a buggy and when dat human tries to sit on mine furry butt dare is bound to be a big surprise! I tried to save my furry butt afore him squashed me. He tried to save his own furry butt and den fell onna floor. Is dat mine fault?

Isn't dis how yur supposed to help the assistant enter owr daily blog stories? It's easy. Just get nice an comfy on da lap of the assistant. Skootch up close to da keyboard to keep an eye on da werds once in a while and den in between take a couple cat naps.Isn't dat right?

Finally Friday

Well what do we have here? Looks like dis is where all da nip is! When I want to do a little nippin' I can jus go in here an get me some. Along wif all da nice stuff we got from owr Secret Paws we now have a drawer full of fun . Dis is gonna be a good weekend. Speshully since it looks like we'll be snowed in on Saturday. A little nip from HotMbc an some stinky goodness an a little vishus deer and we're all set. Schmaybe a little mousie will come by again and we can get a little exercise. Oh yeah. Dat's anofur story to tell yoo. Mom efun got pictures.

Wacky Wednesday - Secret Paws is here!

We tried to wait patiently coz we were gonna put owr Secret paws packij unner da Christmas tree but owr desire for instant gratification won owt.
We gots lots of nice stuff from Bogdan at The Morning Scratch. We got a nice card and jingle balls and a fevver toy an some real grass to eat! An efurryting was so nicely packijed. It efun had nice paw-tissue paper. The Morning Scratch is furry crafty. Beau Beau went right for da fevver toy an den he helped Mom make da grass grow. Since he duzn't go owtside he can't wait to eat some of it.
Temptaytions! We don't get dem dat often coz she likes us to eat organik stuff most of da time. Hey! Get outta my way yoo big oaf! Gasp! Oh sorry, I didn't mean dat Sandy Claws. I'm tryin' to be nice to Beau Beau but he is a big oaf boy. We stuffed owr facestried to eat politely but as yoo can see da big boy wuz all ofur me like a cow in a barn!

Plus Bogdan's sister thot it would be nice for me to have dese pretty bows. I think they am devine!
Plus I gets to play wif da fevver toy too.

Yes, I can climb up there. I jus feel like playing here at the bottom. There are lots of places that just haven't been scratched yet. See! I can hang out here at da top an jus relax. But, schmaybe yoo could invest in a play tower for me an Angie dat I could acshully fit on?

Easy Like Sunday

Dis was easy. Dis tree will do jus fine for Christmas. Dis is a Fraser Fir tree. Let's see. Da needles are 1/2 to 1 inches long, dark green color, dey has a nice piney scent, and da branches turn upward slightly as yoo can see.

Moooommm? Do yoo finks I can put my secret paws gifty unner da tree when it comes?

We are sending owr Secret Paws gift owt tomorrow. Dey should be happy when dey gets owr gift. We heard da toy/food fing we gots for owr Secret paw would be somefin dat he should like. It's somefin he can chew on.

Bet ya didn't finks yoo would see a picshure of a DESSERT now didya? Hee hee. How come da beans gets to eat yummy lookin' fings like dis? Dis is from an Italian restaurant dat is near us called D'Erricos in North Haven, CT. An da beans didn't efun bring any home for us! I finks we should get extra treats instead!

We gotted dis golden rose from Miss Peach's party. Isn't is beeuteeful? We supposed to pass it on to those who we finks has a heart of gold. Update: Daddy put in an order for 10 bat-trees so da red light will keep going like da energizer bunny. I am still looking for someone to hold da light coz Mom is bizzy starin at da 'puter screen and keeps pushing me off da desk. Daddy is bizzy wif his on-line class trying to get his stoodents to put dare homewerk in on time. I made sure I pushed efurryting off all flat surfisses in protest of my lack of attenshun.
One good fing tho - I got's a Christmas card from Perfectly Pretty Parker (my girl-twin) and my sweetie-pie Powder an Puff an Rudy an Diamond Doggie!

Post Turkey Day

Turkey day wuz grate! Lookit da little beans gibbed me. Dey gibbed me Greenies treats. I got lots of turkey and lots of treats. I wuz real fankful dat's fur shure. See da littlest baby bean? Dat's mine human baby bean cuzin an dat's her sisfur next to her. Dey kept me bizzy all day long. I slept for a long time after dey left. It wuz a wonderful day. I hope all yoo who celebrate Turkey had lots of fun and treats on too.
I'm going to bug Mom to open up dat cold box an see if dare is any turkey left. We had lots of veggies an here's what it looked like when it wuz cooked. Lots of good green fings fell onna floor before it wuz done an I ated dem all. I like veggies. Speshully lettuce.
See - we wuz dreamin' of turkey and lookit it! Do we haf to wait a whole nuffer year for one of deze big birds?

I don't know bout you Angie, but I'm gonna be real fankful as soon as I sink my teefies into some of dat Turkey. We gots lots of droppin's on da floor on Wednesday while da Mom wuz pre-cookin' lots of stuff. We gots bread, some orange fings dat looks like carrots, some green fings wif leaves dat mom says wuz celery, some red sauce from somefin she wuz makin' for dinner - ick. Ackshully, dare wuznt' much stuff she dropped dat wuz tasty. So we is holdin' owt for da main event which is da turkey.

Much loves to you all. We know efurryone has somefin to be thankful about. We know we are thankful for all owr friends. Everyone everywhere have a great day! Stop and take a moment to appreciate something no matter how small you think it is. There's always something good to be found in anything.

Toosday's Treats

Some cats will do anyfing for treats including sticking dare nose up frew da sinky hole. What? Yoo mean dat sinky hole dat's been dare for years? Yep. Dat sinky hole. Still dare. Still open. Still waitin for Beau Beau to stick his nose frew it and gets a treat. No way am I puttin my little nose up frew dat hole. I finks we need to rename it Beau Beau's treat hole.

I'm waving my paw for the Fogrotten Felines, no-kill shelter in Clinton CT. It is run entirely by volunteers and supported solely by contributions. Mom went to a fund raiser Saturday night to get some art at their auction. See what she got below.
A mancat can enjoy art too. Dat patikular vase piece is - oh - dis is a hard werd -- Hey Human - can yoo help me owt here? OK (mom helped me wif dis werd) it Czechoslovakian Glass Czech glass is blown, molded and cut in the many forms of vases, perfume bottles, and many more fings and efun glass flowers, dancing girls (WHAT?), and birds (BIRDIES? How come she didn't get one of dose?) in vivid colors.

She also got dis beautiful christmas quilt wif some cat christmas cards for us to send owt at Christmas. I'm gonna send one to Powder if she gives me her official address. I teleported ofur dare but dat's a speshul way to travel and we cats don't know names of streets.
And here is her favrit piece which she won by one green paper ofur someone else. She wuz ackshully biddin' on anofur print dat had a cat in it but someone else waaaaaaayyy owtbid her. Dis is a print by a Connecticat Artist named Leif Nilsson an da scene is from Old Saybrook, CT. We finally has somefin nice on da wall.
It looks like Mom helped owt da shelter lots for us. Dey has over 150 cats dare now and dey are trying to build a new desperately needed modern shelter. They has lots of programs, like homeless cat rescue, spay and neuter, adoption, foster care, and efun has a barn home program to place cats who can't take living in da shelter in local barn homes. All in all it sounds like a good place to raise my paw for.

It's still pretty mild here in Connecticat. I finks I'll enjoy a little stroll in my yard while da beans go off to church. Beau Beau will just sit and wait for da red dot to come owt. He is driving da mom bean crazy coz all he wants to do is play wif da light. He efun finally found his voice an is trying it owt. He says meerrroow-ite merroowwwiitttee (which translated into bean talk is gimme da light willya?) Have a happy Sunday efurryone! Main St. in Wallingford, Connecticat on da way to church. HEELLLLLP! I'm fadin' away! Hee hee. How's dat for a freaky picshure? Not a good flash picshure, Mommie. Yoo better take lessons or somefin.
We gonna be furry bizzy da next few days acoz Mom is co-runnin' a wine tastin' on Sunday and has to do lots of bizzy werk to get reddy for it. Lot's of cookin' gonna be goin' on here. I will help her by openin' da cabinets and gettin' my own treats so she duzn't haf to do it for me. I fink dat's only fair. I will also clean da floor from anyfing dat falls dare while she's cookin' (an dat's a lot). It's dose little bites dat add up yoo know. She's makin' little pumpkin cheesecakes dat will be just da right size for me.
Oh an Mom says if anyone has any tips for makin' doze little cheesecakes to fluff up to let us know. I will den snoopervise da cookin' activities an let yoo know. Angie needs to stay away from da cheese acoz I'm sure most of yoo know she is a leeetle laktoes senseetive and it am not a pretty fing if she eats it if yoo know what I mean. Heh heh.
