Beau Beau's Gotcha Day

Today is the one-year anniversary of my Gotcha Day. Daddy is really the one who picked me out at the Meriden CT Humane Society. I was only six-months old. When the humans came into the room that my cage was in, Daddy looked at me and gasped! He said he loved the way I looked. They got me out of my cage and held me and I just sat in their arms nice and quiet like. That seemed to be the charm and they took me home that day.Then the fun began. I drove Mom crazy because she hadn't had a kitten in hundreds of years and I never stopped running all over the house. She had to call the v.e.t. twice coz she thought I was going to die from things that she didn't even have to worry about. No the Lily plant didn't cause me to get poisoned and die even though the pollen was all over my face and paws. And, no, I didn't eat all your pills, that was an old bottle you let me play wif. So, I was having all this fun being the number one and all and then they got Angie. So now I'm a big boy as you can see from the picture. I'm even gettin' a paunchy belly!


Um, Mom, this was last October and we had pumpkins. Where are the pumpkins for this year huh? Are we a little busy or something?

Look - the bowl is even bigger than me almost! Plllluugh.

Now I gots a little paunchy belly. See how I even let Mommy touch it? But not for long though. That's MY belly.
