This mornin' I was helping Mom read the Sunday Paper. I made sure I was right on top of things, including her arm. Then after a thorough reading of the business section I took a bath right on the kitchen table. Now that the beans gots a new hot water tank (acept for the minor problem that the heat comes on all a time when the beans takes a shower) we can all get cleaned when we want. Now the water men will have to come back to the basement again. But I know much more about business from readin' the paper so I can help them even more.
I try that and the mom tells me to get my big fuzzy butt off the table. Sheesh, what do they think a newspaper is good for? Reading; I don't think so.
ReplyDeleteI help The Dad read the morning paper too! Sometimes I get tired of him not paying attention to me as I purr to him, so he has to put the paper down and scritch my face. It is a daily ritual! I love it.....I love Mine Dad!!
ReplyDeleteVelvet always knows the bit in the paper that I am trying to read - and positions himself right on top!
ReplyDeleteWe think he's not very clever - but maybe we are wrong!
I like to help my mum read the paper too, I always make sure I sit on the same page she is reading.
ReplyDeleteIt's good that you help your mom and read the business page so that you can also help with their business stuff! You are very smart!
ReplyDeleteDaddy is even goin' to put a picshur of me readin' the bizness section in his on-line class.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you exhausted yourself reading the business section! It must have been very tough reading!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you can all be clean now. I am sure that if it had come to it, you would have bathed your human pets yourself!
My favorite spot too. Gotta keep up on the news. -Shaggy
ReplyDeleteI always help Mom do her crossword puzzle. I sure she couldn't get it done without me.

I helped Mom read a book. I climbed in front and swatted those ants that were wiggling all over the page. But they weren't ants! We're not allowed on the table, so Bonnie lies on the pieces of mewspaper that are on the floor. She's helping recycle them!
ReplyDeleteI like helpin Mom make jewelry. It's fun :)
ReplyDeleteBathe where and when you want! My mother complains about stinky butts, but then complains if I bathe where she eats!
ReplyDeleteHumans...you can't live with 'em, you can't live without 'em.
